 EQUITANA Asia Pacific is the most anticipated bi-annual equine event of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere that will be held at a new home the MELBOURNE SHOWGROUNDS from 20 to 23 November 2008. This is a must attend event for any horse lover and enthusiast with over 280 exhibitors from across Australia and the world, hundreds of horses, world-renowned presenters, 3 specialist clinics, 2 Spectacular Evening events, Grand Prix and World Cup competitions and high profile equine specialists.

 EDUCATION - EQUITANA Asia Pacific aims to provide visitors with the highest quality equine education available in the Southern Hemisphere. The education program will incorporate a variety of exciting and highly informative demonstrations, presentations and clinics lead by Australian and international presenters. A range of demonstration arenas, classrooms and a dedicated Horse Health Pavilion with a purpose built auditorium and enlarged interactive area will offer a non-stop program for all four days of Equitana.

 EXHIBITION - With the 4 biggest days in the equine industry EQUITANA Asia Pacific will deliver a “shopper's paradise” – an opportunity too good to be missed.  COMPETITION - moving to the Melbourne Showgrounds will bring a whole new dimension to the competition program. The Grand Pavilion will be transformed into Australia’s largest indoor arena which will house world class competition and specialist clinics. The new purpose built stadium will enable the event to introduce equine competition never before seen at EQUITANA Asia Pacific.

 ENTERTAINMENT - The Melbourne Showground’s Grand Pavilion, one of the largest tent structures in Australia, has now become a landmark feature of Melbourne’s skyline. The Grand Pavilion is a central feature of the newly redeveloped Melbourne Showgrounds and will house the Dressage & Western Evening Spectaculars, specialist clinics and world class competitions.

 Horsenality - The Key To Your Horse
In August 2007, Parelli launched its Horsenality Model, the result of 25 years of studying what makes horses tick. It takes what the Great Masters and Whisperers inherently know when they look at a horse and puts it into the hands of every horse lover, at recreational, professional and competitive levels.
Knowing what is important to each individual horse is the key to resolving behavioral and training issues and taking the horse-human relationship to new heights. So many issues are a result of misreading and therefore misunderstanding horses needs which often results in the exact wrong approach being applied.
In a fascinating and interactive session, during their Horsenality Clinic at Equitana 2008, Linda will teach you how to read horses at a whole new level using the Horsenality Profile & Strategies. Then watch Pat Parelli with new eyes to gain a deeper understanding of Pat’s approach to teaching horses, something he’s always done with an innate grasp of what their individual needs are.
